Lucas opened our live show in March 2021 with his story ‘Nan’s Place’ and I can tell Lucas enjoys performing this one.

It explores the weekend he first went out on the early morning fishing boats to fish and learn his saltwater culture down on the Tweed Coast and how seeing the jullum (mullet) up here on the Gold Coast still takes him back to those weekends at Nan’s Place.
I had a blast sharing the stage with Lucas and playing music together so I hope you enjoy this episode of Stories in the Key of GC. Stay tuned for more great stories soon.

Thanks to Bern Young, Richard Muecke for the audio on the night and HOTA, Home of the Arts for hosting us.
